Today online ticket is very common and popular. Most of the time these type of ticket uses a bar code or a QR code for quick scan and verification. No doubt these system brings a new dimension in the way we sell and buy tickets. Market of ticket selling expanded from local to global. Security of the ticket of being faked also increased many fold.
But at the same time it has added and extra cost to the organizers for using online platform, payment gateway, etc. And the cost is ultimately transferred to the end user (customer/ visitors/audience etc.)
