How WhatsApp Free Pass works
TicketLine can be used to create a digital guest pass for your Puja or other event and send the pass link directly to the guest through WhatsApp. The guest does not need to install an app to view the pass.
Simple for the guest
The guest receives a WhatsApp message containing a link to the Guest Pass. They open the link, display the QR pass on their phone, and show it at the entry gate for scanning.
1. Select your event
Open the Events section
From your organization dashboard, open Event and locate the Puja or other event for which you want to issue a guest pass.
Open Guest Passes
On the event card, select Guest Passes. This opens the Guest Pass Management page for that event.
Select + Guest Pass
Select + Guest Pass to open the Add Guest Pass form.
2. Enter guest information
Enter the information needed to identify the guest and deliver the pass. The form provides the following fields.
Guest Name
Enter the name of the person receiving the pass.
Mobile
Enter the guest's mobile number. This is used for the WhatsApp sharing flow.
Enter an email address when you want to keep an email contact for the guest.
Category

Check the mobile number
Before sending the pass through WhatsApp, check that the guest's mobile number is correct.
3. Set pass validity
The Pass Validity section determines the period during which the guest pass is intended to be valid.
Entire Event
Use the event period when the pass should remain valid for the event as a whole.
Valid From / Valid To
The form displays the validity dates for the pass, based on the event and the selected validity settings.
4. Create the pass

Your QR Guest Pass is created
TicketLine generates the digital pass with the guest information, validity period, QR code, pass code, and current status.
6. View the guest pass
When the guest opens the pass link, the digital Guest Pass is displayed in a mobile-friendly format.

The pass displays the event name, such as the Puja name.

QR Code & Pass Code
The digital pass contains a QR code for scanning at the entry gate and a visible pass code. The current pass status is also displayed, such as ACTIVE.
The guest only needs the pass link
The guest can open the link received through WhatsApp and show the QR pass on their phone at the entry gate.
7. Scan the pass at entry
At the entry gate, the QR code on the guest's phone can be scanned using the TicketLine scanning system.
Open the TicketLine scanner
Use the TicketLine scanning interface on the device being used at the entry gate.
Scan the QR code
Point the scanner camera at the QR code displayed on the guest's phone.
