Manage your event.
Keep everything on track.

Once an event has been created, use TicketLine to review event details, manage tickets and guest passes, edit information, access the QR poster, and control the event's published state.

What you can manage

The Events page is the main place to manage your events. Each event is shown as a card with its basic information, ticket activity, status, and available actions.

The card also shows the event dates, number of ticket types, and tickets sold.

Your event card is the control point

Use the actions on the event card to reach the tools you need instead of recreating the event.

1. Find your event

Open Event

From the organization dashboard, select Event from the Create section.

Locate the event

Find the event you want to manage in the Events list.

Use the event card

The card contains the event overview and its management actions.

2. Understand the event card

The event card gives you a quick view of the event before opening an individual tool.

EVENT NAME

Title

The event title is displayed at the top of the card.

STATUS

Published

The status badge indicates the current published state shown by the event.

DATES

Event period

The start and end dates are displayed on the card.

TICKET TYPES

Types

Shows how many ticket types have been created for the event.

SALES

Sold

Shows the number of tickets sold for the event.

3. Use the event management actions

The current event card provides the following actions:

Tickets

Open the Ticket Types page to review existing ticket types and add new ones.

🎫

Guest Passes

Open the guest-pass area associated with the event.

Edit

Open Event Create/Edit to change the event information.

QR

Open the Event QR Poster containing event information and a QR code.

Unpublish

For a published event, the card provides an Unpublish action.

Review before changing an active event

If an event is already being used for sales or attendee communication, check the consequences of an edit or status change before saving.

4. Edit an existing event

Select Edit to open the Event Create/Edit form. The form contains the same main event fields used when the event was created.

TITLE

Title

Update the event title.

CAMPAIGN

Campaign

Review or change the selected campaign.

VENUE

Venue

Update the venue information.

DATES

Start Date / End Date

Update the event's beginning and ending dates.

TIME

Start Time / End Time

Update the event's start and end times.

CAPACITY

Capacity

Review or update the event capacity.

Save the changes

After reviewing the updated information, select Save Event.

5. Manage the event's tickets

Select Tickets on the event card to open the Ticket Types page.

Select Tickets on the event card.

Review ticket cards

Ticket cards show status, mode and validity, price, total quantity, sold quantity, and revenue.

Choose an action

Depending on the ticket state, actions can include Edit, Pause, Resume, and QR.

6. Guest Passes

The event card provides a Guest Passes action. Select it when you need to work with guest passes associated with the event.

Keep guest access separate from regular tickets

Use the Guest Passes area when the attendee is being handled through a guest-pass workflow rather than a normal ticket type.

7. Use the Event QR Poster

Select QR on the event card to open the Event QR Poster. The poster displays the organization, event name, event dates, venue, and a QR code.

Useful for offline promotion

The QR poster can be printed or displayed where people can scan it and reach the ticket-purchase route.

8. Understand the published state

The Events page shown uses a Published badge for published events. A published event also provides an Unpublish action.

Use event status deliberately

Before changing the published state of an active event, make sure the change matches your intended sales and communication status.

Event management checklist

  • Event name and venue are correct.
  • Start and end dates are correct.
  • Start and end times are correct.
  • Capacity has been reviewed.
  • Required ticket types have been created.
  • Ticket quantities and prices have been checked.
  • Guest passes have been considered where applicable.
  • Published status matches the intended event state.
  • QR poster is available if you plan to promote the event offline.
